The KekeDebe Camp is next door to Troutdale Station on Lake Moxie in The Forks Maine. A single-family camp that sleeps up to ten people overlooking Lake Moxie and Burnt Jacket & Bald Mountains.  The camp has almost all conveniences ... except electricity, but don't worry, it has an RV-like battery system. It has two screened porches, large living and dining rooms, family-style sleeping loft, a full kitchen and bathroom. Gas appliances provide lighting, hot water, cooking and refrigeration. There's also a gas furnace and fireplace should it get chilly.

Activities
At Camp
: Tell campfire stories around the outdoor fire pit. Relax in the outdoor wood-fired hot tub under a brilliant night sky unobscured by light pollution, then fall to sleep to the haunting calls of loons. Don't be surprised if you are awakened in the morning by the splashing of a moose in the nearby cove.
The lake provides swimming, boating and fishing opportunities or curl up in a hammock with a book from our library.
Near Camp: Hike a section of the Appalachian Trail, which you can pick-up down the road a piece, and reach the summit of Bald Mt. located across the lake from KekeDebe. A short drive and hike gets you to the spectacular 90 foot Moxie Falls, or walk in to Little Sandy Falls just a few miles from camp. Explore the remains of an old fish hatchery walking distance from camp, or take the more aggressive trail to the summit of Mosquito Mountain.
Whitewater Rafting: Ten miles from camp is The Forks Plantation, also known as 'Raft City' where many commercial whitewater rafting outfits are based. Book a trip down the Kennebec River with our partners at River Drivers Whitewater and receive discounted rates. The less adventurous can hike to the river and witness thrills and spills as the rafts hit 'Magic' which is a Class V rapid.
Moosehead Lake: Travel about an hour on dirt highways to Greenville, which is the gateway to the Moosehead Lake Region. Get your groceries and have a fine meal in town or tour Maine’s largest lake aboard the Katahdin or in a float plane with Currier's Flying Service.
Parlez-vous francais? Take a full day trek up US 201 to Canada and the cities of St. Georges and historic Quebec City. The US/Canadian border is about two hours from KekeDebe, with St. Georges another 30 minutes and Quebec another hour. It's a full day but well worth it. Don't forget your passport!
